I used a foam lined chopped up biscuit tin fastened to the roll hoop with an exhaust clamp. the camera was held in with cable ties.
Can't remember what type of biscuits they were though - sorry
cant u use a suction mount ie Tom Tom type and attach the camera to it you can then locate it on yor scuttle. Anothe idea is to clamp a flat bar (made into a T) to your roll bar using Jubilee clips, you then have a flat surface to strap your camera
duck tape and cable ties!!
are you sure that particular camera will take the footage the camera spec states video clip and no sound ??
Has it got a standard screw type camera mount on the bottom.
Mine has so I bought a camera mount for £3 like this:
link
and modified it to bolt onto the roll bar.
Works great!

Pity your not using a bullet cam I found a really good locost mount I use a Microphone holder threaded into the roll bar. Bullet cam fits perfectly
the video quality and sound are quite good for a cheapo cam but no its not got that screw thread on the bottom
