I'm after some info on Jag IRS, specifically what is the interchangeability in terms of the actual diff and its internals, between generation 1 IRS (up to XJ6 and XJS) and gen 2 IRS as fitted to pre X300 XJ40's..............

In a nutshell, I'm doing a project for a customer where I'd quite like to go for XJ40 IRS, but I want a powr-loc diff in it, and they are rare on XJ40's but very common on earlier cars......

further to this, anybody got a drawing of the old type jag irs rear cradle, need the width
