Anyone know the last time there was a vat free day at the Southampton branch, also if there is a one coming up soon

You can ask in store. Last October was the one I missed!!

I signed up to there spam mail on the understanding that I would be notified of there vat free days which I never have.

I have complained but don't seem to be getting anywhere, each time they say oh your down for the email stuff but not the vat free stuff so there and then I'm added to the mail list, another vat free day no invite another complaint same thing not on the mailing list and so on

I have been on the mailing list for nearly two years now, and have only just got my invite...just as I finish my build... Typical

i don't think they're under any obligation to send anyone any invites.
wonder if there's maybe some other criteria? how much you've spent there for example? maybe a certain number of invites every store is allowed to send out, so maybe you end up on some kind of list and have to wait to work your way up the list? i don't know
