Not the snow, nor the high wind, but the single flash of lightning followed by a rumble of thunder that happened over south Suffolk last night,,,
never experienced that in a snow-fall before.
Probably explains why we had several brief power cuts last night...

OOO let the conspiracy theroies brew ...
black ice up at Westhill in Aberdeen and very cold, just waiting on one of the engineering managers to crash his Audi TT again at the same place as
last year….but it’s got 4WD???

nob
Yep, one of the young Imprezza brigade here just stuffed his car down the car park grass banking playing the fool.
Pity cameras are banned in the office, his car is a picture, his face even better realising his job is now on the line.
I too saw the flash of lightning and heard the thunder. No one else in the house did though, just me and the dog.
Very weird

Yep - that thunder was properly odd last night. It made my mate jump which was quite funny though!
Which reminds me of one of my favourite quotes from a friend,
"After all the buffy i've been watching it was positively cultural!"
