As my fekin Christmas tree cost £40, I'm leaving it up for next year!!
Thats it for another year, one more day off then back to work, Doh!!
Miserable sods !
Should stay up until 12th night (6th Jan )
Coming down as I type this...
Mine didnt go up , so it dont need to come down
Ours came down last week, mrs insisted they were away before littl'uns birthday. House looks a bit bare now...
i cant stand it lingering, cards went a few days ago and the rest of it is off tonight once buggerlugs is in bed
6th of Jan you Bah Humbug lot!
All done and back in the loft for another year!
My mate has had a Christmas tree up for 5 years
Mines down on the first, same time the missus usually sorts the carnage out from Christmas.
2 days off, christmas eve clear up the house, shopping, getting prepared etc. Xmas day, cooking, entertaining friends and family all day. Boxing day,
0700, back to work, whats it all about ? Xmas now back in its box in the loft !! Oh well , it gives you a nice warm glow inside. I think thats more
from the xmas tree in the woodburner. Think I must be getting old !!
