Do I dare post a serious note!!! Am the owner and half constructor of a (Shock and Horror and Hang Head in Shame NOT) Stainless Steel and Lovely Robin Hood 2B - bought in a fit of mid life crisis in kit form in 2001 without consultation or any foreplay!!! or knowledge of then Hubbie. Built in 14 months and first time SVA pass with a comment from Leighton Buzzard tester Duncan "First time I have passed one of these ....."
Admittedly there was a problem as it was September and with female vanity I had fitted the hood (not screens as fixings definite not compliant) the bar over head radius required padding and application of armaflex. Not a problem and MAC in hand, I never looked back. So can I ask a serious question without heavy vids of fem. daftness??? Answers on a postcard please to. . . .

I would like to laugh at the woman driver and be highly sexest but i can not.

Just after passing my driving test one end of my village became flooded - about 2 foot deep. Being a fearless driver i promptly decided to drive my metro through the shallowest section, the water shot straight over the car and up through the bonnet vents. People laughed as i went nose first into the now lake of water but to my amazement the car came out the other side. I spent the next 2 miles driving in 1st gear screaming the t*ts off the 1 litre monster trying to stop it stalling. made it home to find the dissy cap half full, out with the hair drier and i lived to drive again.

learnt my lesson, covered the dissy cap with a plastic glove and lots of duck tape so it can not happen again!

I know of two female posters on this site, one doesn't post very often, the other does but prefers to remain unknown as a female.

Ned.

Peteff - 21/4/04 at 06:31 PM

My wife thought it was funny and she's a woman. She drives as well, better than me, white van woman. Pop into the kitchen and make us a nice cuppa now love. (Ron off the fast show)
