Did they smash up a police car or have they got a 'customers' car there?

Police cars get smashed up regularly, they get rammed, vandalised (usually 'piggs' scratched in the doors - dyslexia goes with the territory).
The Focuses (Focii?) get rolled regularly due to the suspension geometry and low profile tyres. The police will not tollerate any damage on the cars, not good for the image. I estimate on competitive tender to repair them, I always have at least 2 on site at any time.

Steve, yes, those are the ones, it was common knowlege that they were not wired up in the beginning because the contractor who fitted them was local. I asked today about them, i didn't get a reply, just hysterical laughter!!

just been down a30 and the cameras at camborne are definately flashing !!
Apparently some trucks have also been caught doing 59 and been done for speeding, something along the lines that they should be doing 50 mph max ??
next bank holiday (end of may) they are doing a protest run from chivvy to hayle and back..... at 10 mph!! .......... nice

They are definately working, and live, they seem to be aiming at trucks, our transporter has picked up 2 tickets in one week!
