
Another one of those questions that... nowhere else has the answer to.... can locostbuilders help...
Imagine an old style gas street lamp, burning the gas in a mantle style burner...
Anyone care to estimate what the colour of the light is on the chromacity scale in X,Y?...
Or in any other scale?....
And... what intensity in flux/lumens do we think it is?
Well judging by the one I used on my Tilly Lamp when I used to beach fish, on the 'chuffin bright' scale it's waaay up there!
Not sure if that's a technical term but there you go.

I can see the Locost attraction but I don't think they will pass the IVA.
Probably entirely useless thread as I've no idea if 'colemans gas mantle burners' are remotely equivalent to what you need:
