I'm a regular user for several years now but one thing really bugs me...
The default hole termination is "to depth"....most of my holes are "through".
Anyone know how (or if) this can be changed?

That does my head in as well! I've been using Inventor on a recent contract, and there are loads of little annoyances like that....
I'll fire off a question to the tech support guys and ask them on Monday though...

Can you make the hole depth the same as the material? I.e. 5cm block of wood with a 5cm deep hole
Yes you can, although in a lot of cases it is beneficial to have the hole depth parametrically linked to the material thickness. Specifying the hole
depth removes this link. Also it changes the way holes are called out by the hole and thread tool when detailing a drawing. I.e. It specifies the
hole depth, instead of calling out the hole as "thru".
I have to admit, having used inventor and solidworks far too much, I think solidworks has the edge over inventor....
