jabbahutt - 16/3/10 at 03:02 PM

Fantastic news, best of luck. Nothing will prepare you for the rush of emotion when your little un arrives and lets out their first cry.

I don't mind admitting blubbing it was a fantastic experience.

Enjoy

D Beddows - 16/3/10 at 03:04 PM

Best of luck mate, I'll be doing the same in 5 weeks or so

Its the locostbuilders way, whatever you are doing, first thing to do is check on here to see if anyone has done it cheaper or quicker.

If I were you I'd have gone private. We had a 9 month wait on the NHS

PS. When I saw the title I thought this was going to be another angle grinder accident thread.

PPS. Ionce had myclothes cut off me by a nice student nurse in Leighton Hospital... unfortunatly I'd been bouncing down the road at 40mph, on my head, so don't remember it.

I went to college in Crewe and met some of the student nurses. I think that they may have just told you she was nice as they knew you didn't remember!

Anyway, had a text back half hour ago but only thanking me for mine. Good luck Steve

James - 16/3/10 at 05:38 PM

A friend of mine gave birth 3 weeks ago. Whilst she was in maternity, hubby was in A&E!
He passed out when she had a blood test and hit his head so hard on a radiator he had some sort of fit!

So one of the mid-wives had to sit with him down in A&E whilst she gave birth upstairs!!!

Good Luck to Steve and family!

James

jollygreengiant - 16/3/10 at 07:40 PM

If water is broken then be carefull and don't use any naked flames or electrical switches, as the wil be a lot of Oxygen and Hydrogen around.

All the best to both of you (or all three, maybe more) Don't forget the specifics, mother and baby ok, boy or girl, time and weight. any thing after that lot is of no importance.

liam.mccaffrey - 16/3/10 at 08:13 PM
