Lewis is a naughty boy
mookaloid - 26/3/10 at 03:00 PM

sounds like the Australian Police don't have much of a sense of humour linky

owelly - 26/3/10 at 03:14 PM

That's always the problem with these youngsters. Not long had a driving license in his pocket and he thinks he's Nigel Mansell................

D Beddows - 26/3/10 at 03:14 PM

Now he's 'sacked' his dad I suspect we will see a fair bit more 'exuberance' I think he is the best F1 driver for a LONG time so as long as he can stay focused on the day job, go for it Lewis

On the beeb website as well

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8589435.stm

"The vehicle was seen to deliberately lose traction and was intercepted by police. "

So it's the vehicles fault then Should have got a Toyota. You can do anything in them and blame the accelerator pedal!

Seriously though LH should be careful, this year's all about tyre management!!

skydivepaul - 26/3/10 at 03:36 PM

This is the FIA's fault.

if they would let drivers do donuts after the race they wouldnt have to go out onto the street to do them

matt_gsxr - 26/3/10 at 03:37 PM

Do you think he will be treated differently by the judge based on the result of the race?

Weber 1st, Hamilton 2nd = $100 fine

Hamilton 1st, Weber 2nd = death penalty

Matt

If I had his life, they would need to keep me in a straight jacket and drug me to calm me down

Over exuberant my ar$e, I'd have spun the car with a grid girl sat on my lap until something went bang

RK - 26/3/10 at 04:38 PM

Weren't like that in the olde country, where a nod and a wink gets you off. You know what I mean!

CRAIGR - 26/3/10 at 04:51 PM

Shoot the arrogant little fecker

stevec - 26/3/10 at 05:17 PM

It must be true, I read it in the Sun.

gottabedone - 26/3/10 at 05:18 PM

maybe they should lend his Merc road car to Team HRT as thier cars aren't fast enough to get reckless

bi22le - 26/3/10 at 05:52 PM

I recon he might be a bit over qualified for a dounut. I think he could handle it.

Them rules seem relaxed in aus. I remember hearing about the WRC drivers in wales all getting speeding tickets as they drove between the stages. How can a rally driver who often dont drop below 50mph on wet dirt and gravel get convicted of dangerous driving in a 30 limit? Thats like saying a professional footballer aint good enough to cheat on a beautiful model girlfriend.

They do it all the time, we just dont hear about it!

Danozeman - 26/3/10 at 06:05 PM

he is an aragant little sod but if he was in this country you have to wonder what punishment he would get.

sod all i reckon.

v8kid - 26/3/10 at 06:24 PM

Would that tie in with the reports in the times today of racist behavour by the victoria police or would shouie have been booked as well?

"Grid girl sat on lap" and "bang" shouldnt be used together in the same sentence........................................ not in the above manner anyway!!

Ah, unlike any other successful F1 driver then!

I've never met Lewis personally but after 3 years working for Mclaren I know a lot of people who work with him regularly. Top bloke apparently and they have nothing but good things to say about him!

Unlike their comments about what they had to put up with from Aloser in 2007!

Cheers,
James

Yeah like when Marcus Gronholm got pulled whilst driving with 3 wheels,

Copper: you can't drive along on 3 wheels
MG: but I can
Copper: no you can't
MG: yes I can
Copper: No you CAN'T
MG:YES I CAN, I'm quite capable of driving on 3 wheels
Copper: but you're not allowed
MG: Then that's different, but I CAN drive on 3 wheels....

Joy..............
