All ideas welcome...
Did a sponsored walk last year, only about 12 miles, 2 of us did the 118 118 thing. Raised a fair bit of cash for a good cause....
Need to top that this year with a new theme...anybody suggest anything? Needs to be 'walking friendly' obviously...

what about a Darth Vader costume or a star trooper?
I once made a costume that was much like Death's hooded cloak but wore a motorcycle helmet with a mirrored visor under the hood, and some layers
of black netting over the helmet to disguise it. I put a KIT (Night Rider) style sweeping LED light inside the visor and also wore some latex gloves
with loads of wood glue that I had allowed to dry on them to look like flaking skin.
To finish it off I put a length of clear plastic tube in the index finger of one glove and ran it through the cloak to my mouth.
At the party I communicated in grunts, being quite robust with people who got too close, and sticking my finger in their pints which miraculously
dissapeared from the glass in front of their eyes!
People really were genuinely unsure whether to come near, and were flummoxed and amazed by the disappearence of their pints!
Great fun and free beer all night!!!
