It ain't my fault

This puts a whole new twist on parents denial of responsibility

r1_pete - 13/4/10 at 08:34 AM

Yes we have a generation who have never experienced discipline, or responsibility for their own actions now becomming parents!

If their kids trip and chip a tooth, or walk by a garden fire and get a cough, they'd be up for litigation......

Not good reading is it!

You can't stop people having kids, and unless you want the government snooping even more into everyones lives (I certainly don't) you can't control how parents look after them.

It's nice to know that my hard earned tax dollars goes to pay for all the sweets shoved into these kids gobs and the fags for the mothers.

I'm fed up of seeing these programmes about parents whinging cos their kids won't behave and "oh, he only likes sweets and crisps" - how's about say no for a change, they're hardly going to die of starvation are they you dimwits!!

it's not often i feel like congratulating myself on my parenting skills but i suddenly feel like a great dad in comparison to some of those parents.

Natural selection in action to wean out the children of stupid parents, who most likely whould have grown up to be like them i.e. stupid.

Only downside is who will be working to pay for my pension? err.... actually I'd probably not be allowed to retire in order to pay for the non-working lazy coke guzling layabouts they will turn out to be!!

Unfortunately natural selection is now working in reverse. Hard working, intelligent, decent people have fewer kids than moronic scroungers because kids pay for their lifestyle. Therefore the genes that make you a lazy scrounger will become dominant.

Take if forward for a few hundred thousand years and people who are prepared to work will be extinct!

we have a generation of dimwits about to keep the country going....

doesnt look too good does it???

the kids i used to teach had about as much common sense as a makeral...

It just beggars belief:
"Kaitlyn's mother said that in the months since her daughter had the operation last summer, she has required fillings in two baby teeth, but the family is making good progress in cutting down on the sweets and the tomato sauce."
The programme is on tonight, but I don't think I can watch without throwing something at the TV

Kwik - 13/4/10 at 11:48 AM

thats very very bad for the country...

i know our generation is bad, but didnt realise what effect it had on everything, i thought the unhealthy smokers and drinkers where just harming themselfs...

i know it was a bit naive on my part... then again i dont drink, smoke or eat excessivly at all, i play sports often i walk to school... i have a lot of glucose drink, but thats only because i use up my energy so quickly playing tennis and rock climbing...

things like this makes me want to move to sweden...

I'm afraid that this is not true! China have done this!

We need a regime change and a single party state, but numbers of children can be controlled! In fact it needs to be done!

Fair point, but I'd rather have a lot of fat kids with bad teeth than the Chinese government!

A friend of mine is a teacher, and she says that the quality of parenting has plumetted over the last decade.
Parents don't want the kids to impact on their lives, and they don't want to take responsibility for their actions.
Also a lot of parents don't seem to have the willpower or even care enough to say no to their children when young, and that continues as the kid grows up...
It just depresses me.

What did you teach ? That would be mackerel I saw a gang of kids go past yesterday and the oldest of them was 15 ( which I know for a fact ) and they were carrying Strongbow and Vodka kick drinks and smoking and this was at 10.30 a.m. What chance have they got of a normal life when it's all they see their parents doing ? I know we say stop their money but they will only go out thieving to pay for their gear. I blame crap like Shameless and instant fame programs on TV for a lot of the problems.
