Back to the polls ?

there not gonna sort this one out together, any of them.

cant see how the result would change enough in 6 months to leave anyone with a majority. Cameron got that much with a media boost and an anti labour sentiment, his lead will reduce in a subsequent election, not increase.

As I see it right now ?

The Tories n Lib dems are going to make utter fools of themselves if they try to work together, they wont last long before they start bickering, the Tories cant go it alone (for long), Labour n Lib dems whilst closer on policies still would also not last long due to still having no majority, if I was Gordon I would let them get into bed together, Labour would be back in by the end of the year.

Perhaps Milliband will come in for Brown and i would suspect then that more will be willing to vote labour. Despite the vote being about the parties and their policies, this election seems to have been based on the personality of the leaders and consequently the dislike of Mr Brown.

yes, but not with Gordon , and that is what he so desperately wants

thats about it i think Jon. Was looking on the beeb just now at policy summaries and comparisons, its alarming how i support different aspects of all three. How can any one party be right on all issues? Cant happen. So i think we need political reform as a priority.

Here's my take:

Stay out of Euro: Conservative.
Short term spending is Labour. (Conservatives stop too soon and Liberals too long.)
Energy: Tory and Lab are not too bad, but liberals rule out more nuclear power, which is daft.
Scrap ID cards is Tory or Lib
Keep DNA database is Labour
Refurb Trident is probably none of them.

Thats without even going into crime, education, benefit reform etc.

None of them reflect my views.

I dont think GB is half as disliked as the media would have us believe. In fact, the media does more spin that politicians themselves!

No, more like ten times as much.
