Learning Visual Basic

Ok, I am in a position where it would be very useful to have an understanding and good idea of how to work with VB.

So, anyone got any good guides/links etc on how to get in to it?

I have done a bit of programming before which may or may not help!

Thanks,
David

I've used the following sites before and they have been pretty helpful:

asp.net
VB vs C# Comparison

I've used both C# and VB a bit and they are very similar. How well do you understand object oriented programming? If you haven't done it before its a little tricky.

If you need any help you can u2u me and I'll offer up what I can.

You can download a free version from microsoft.com.
There are tutorials, etc. available there.

depends on what your trying to achieve.

Set a realistic app/website to right and learn the basic around that, everything else will come along.

I've written e-commerce website and a crm app we use at work in vb, so quite powerful.

tek-tips.com is a good site to help/assistance, but need any help drop me a u2u.
