Belleville Springs?
Howlor - 18/5/10 at 07:41 AM

Morning to the Locost Massive!

I stripped my clutch on my mower down or should I say I removed one bolt and the rest stripped itself!

I am now left with a lot of bits one of which is an interesting belleville spring washer style thingymajig.

It is basically an 0.6mm thick spring but wavey like a belleville with about 3 full turns on it, 40mm ID. Anybody know what they are called please?

Many thanks,
Steve

Sounds like a Thackery washer

Edit: quick search finds things called a "Wave/Wavy/Waved Washer" sold alongside Thackery Washers, so I suspect that's what you're after.

A bellville spring or a bellville washer is not wavey normally, they normally look like slightly cone shaped washers
