removing word 97 password protection ???

I have a file i need to open thats a word file 97 variety, cant find the password, dont even remember putting a password on it. Help

I've used various password crackers in the past for this purpose

The password systems on MS files is rubbish!!

Im afraid I cant remeber the name of the app, but google if and there is a cracker you can download that uses bruitforce to guess the password... Will take about 30 seconds!

Send it to me and I'll do it in about 30secs

Assuming its just password protected to modify rather than to open.

If its protected to open then it will be encrypted - which is a bit more of a challenge
