Does anyone know somewhere that repairs the touch screen on an ipod touch? I've seen a couple of places online but a recommendation would be
good, I don't want to go through apple because they will charge a fortune.4
I bought a replacement screen from the Bay of Fleas for about a tenner with tools and
adhesive. Not a difficult job, some useful how to vids on youtube.
I've done a couple before, you have to be very very carefull with the ribbon cable that connects the touch screen to the circuit board. You basically have to connect it and then straight away fit the screen. Do not flex the cable backwards and forwards at all as this will break the cable. I now 'cos I did it trying to check if it worked before fitting the screen back in
do it yourself there are youtube guides.
