Is there a plumber in the house?

I have probs with my heating.
The heating is not on yet all the rads downstairs are.

Diverter valve has gone south. Typically it's the motor and you can usually change them without changing the zone / diverter valve.

same happened to mine , diverter valve generaly a simple fix I bought a new on locally 15 minutes to fit the worst part is draining the sustem below the valve then the filling. If it is the valve a simple check is to run the hot water and see if the rads get hotter thats what happened to mine

as Benb says, had the same problem myself a couple of years ago, your local plumcentre will sell the required springy gubins thats packed in.

It sounds like your three port valve.

Can be either the motor or the valve itself. You should be able to operate the valve manually to see if its seized. If not, then just get a new actuator.
