Electricity... How Much Do You Pay a Month???
scootz - 16/7/10 at 01:31 PM

Just had a look at the leccy bill for the first time in ages... £65 a month!

Is that ridiculous, or have I just missed a stealth 'hike'?

loggyboy - 16/7/10 at 01:38 PM

£25-30 for a 2 bed house with electric oven and hob. (gas central heating)

mookaloid - 16/7/10 at 01:52 PM

aye but it's lots colder in Scotland......

McLannahan - 16/7/10 at 01:53 PM

£61 Three bed, electric hob and oven, with oil fired heating. Has been overpaying though by 140 in the period though so I expect that'll fall to about £45 to £50?

Stott - 16/7/10 at 01:57 PM

£40 I think, 2 bed semi, gas oven and heating, always power tools running though, and I usually get a good rebate every year from that payment

Beleive it or not I pay about £200/month give or take, with partial gas central heating

How big are these panels? Also where are you getting the LED lighting from cos I've been looking for LED bulbs (apparently you can get bayonet cap ones)

RoadkillUK - 17/7/10 at 11:23 AM

£120/ month, 3 bedroom terrace. I blame my 2 teenage daughters, (but I'm as much to blame with my PC's and stuff).

coozer - 17/7/10 at 12:28 PM

4 months worth has just cost me 310 so thats about £78 a month, gas and leccy.

Not bad considering there's a lathe, compressor, big drill, big mig and plasma cutter and assorted drills, grinders etc

That's quite a well kitted-out kitchen you have there!
