Guys I'm putting in a small footing for a breeze block wall, the wall is only 2 blocks high and will be faced with stone.
The footings are 12 inches deep and the wall is 20 ft long, so I need 20 cubic feet of concrete.
What quantity of ballast / cement do I need?
Cheers
1 Tonne All in ballast
9x25KG Cement

Certainly won't fall down! Just a touch of overkill there if the founds are 12" deep. usually 2 story houses are that thick.
No harm and it uses up a bulk bag of ballast anyhow.
If you are on a budget you could reduce the amount of cement by 30% since it is so much thicker than required.
Make sure the bottom of the trench is lower than the winter frostline or it will heave when the ground freezes and crack your wall. 12" is a bit
shallow if it were me I'd go 24" deep and put a 6" found in and build up an extra 2 courses of blocks
