Does anyone know what the thread is on either ends of a D-Cell maglite body?

Or failing that whether they're metric or imperial

Good question, well presented...
As Magligjt is an American product I am asumming it's imperial

HMM, probably a unf or unc form as american but could be a non prefered size
you need to measure the od and check the pitch then see if you can find it in a zeus book or if you dont have one post back here the size pitch etc and someone will look it up for you.

Thanks guys I'm being impatient thats all. My zeus book, calipers and pitch gauge are on my desk in work so I can't check 'til the morning.

For whats its worth the male thread holding the head on is the same pitch as a stainless bolt I have on my windowsill in work. I know what job the bolt was for and I'm almost 100% sure its an imp bolt
