esniper bidder

Does anyone use esnipe? or does anyone reccommend any other type of system. Watching a couple of things that I dont want to loose on and they end within a day so need to know what way to go.

Just bid the top price you are willing to pay, saves a lot of messing about.

Its easy enough to get two Ebay windows open on your computer... one at the "confirm bid" page and one watching the count down... when it gets to 3ish seconds... hit confirm bid.. simples..

I use auctionsniper.com It does cost a tiny bit of money but well worth it.

Just bidding the top price you are willing to pay isn't enough - it has to be done in the last few seconds to stop those who will 'just have one more bid' to get the item.

JBidWatcher is what I use.
Free, and it works. I have my snipes set for 5 seconds before the end of the auction.

sniping apps take the fun out of it.

I do the two window trick.. set the cost in one and confirm, then just refresh in the other one till as late as your nerves will let you, then just click confirm!

I don't have to even be there to place my bids

auctionsleuth does it for me at 5secs

Cheers

Iv give up on all of these. Just bid what u want to pay right at the end.

I use jbidwatcher all the time - no problems just you have to have your computer turned on.

They end within a day? Hardly need a quick trigger finger for that!

Manual sniper myself - no fun otherwise.

+1, I've found I nearly always win with that method

I always use the 2 window method. I'm not too keen on using a site that needs my eBay login details

Call me paranoid but........

Plus, if you do put your bid in earlier and it gets overbid, then it's probably going to go for more than it's worth anyhow. Chances are someone is going to snipe you no matter what anyhow. If you 'snipe' at 5 seconds, someone else will be doing it at 3 so what's the point? Another will probably come along at half the price
