Just had a thought, obviously it would be good practise to shake the car down before SVA. after all Ron champion did it so it must be right
Has anyone any thoughts where this could be done, say within a radius of 100 miles of Chesterfield and at what cost
How about trying Newark Air Museum if they might allow testing on their runway?
It's on the same site as the Kit Car Show, so you can all find it.
They might be well worth a try, especially if you're willing to pay one or two quids....
Rich.
Well, bugger me I never thought of the airfield.
If you want answers ask a hippy!

Don't "shake it down" Dave, i'tl drop to bits

bastard
now now dave, get ya dolly back, mind you, will it be as fast as a 2CV Dolly ?????????
seriuosly though, i used plent of local farms to run engines in when racing, the ones with very long tarmac drives, not in fields you fart, good one
at Whaley, very motor sport friendly too, drive about a mile long, just rite for "shakin down", get some work done, Cum on Eddie
Dave, just do what we did. Drove it round the streets near house, very fast! Just so we didn't get caught, you understand
Roland
Roland...it's you!
Wondered how long it would take - pretty good here, and well organised.
Re shake down tests, drive on the road anywhere. As long as you're going to a garage to have anything done to the car to enable SVA pass, you're
LEGAL. We drove around for an hour or so to get the headlights aligned!
Enjoy.
