Well I ended up buying a briggs and stratton mower engine from ebay (11 quid) and simple prop. fixed a length of steel tube to the output shaft and then fitted the prop to the end. I used a trolley wheel castor as a pivot thing. Started it up and well let me say it was a bit of a scary monster. Vibration was a serious issue, but it only needed to last a short period.

Then the organiser of the event decided there wasn't enough interest and knocked it on the head. So in my humble opinion I win by default.

hope you fot a refund plus compensation for the time you psent sourcing and making the thing.
