If I cancel Sky, what happens to the phone and broadband I have with them???
Steve Hignett - 8/9/10 at 07:50 PM

As above,

Money is a bit too tight at the moment, so I think I'm going to have to ditch sky (nothing but repeats anyhow!).

What happens to my phone and broadband that's with them?

Should I contact someone to get the broadband from them first to make it an easier canellation (obv you prob guessed that I'm going to try and keep t'internet).

And as a secondary question, who are the cheapest, but good, ISP's?

Thanks all!
Steve

Are you on a mobile phone contract ?

We got 2 mobiles and a dongle around £40 a month with all the minutes we ever need and unlimited texts, the dongle goes anywhere.

Just a thought.

I don't think I could cope with the speed of a dongle, aren't they slow?

Plus, I don't have the best signal at home...

There must be a mobile provider with a good signal in your area ?

We use voda and when its hooked up on 3g its as quick as any land line broadband.

you can cancel tv but keep phone and BB with them. you pay a £2.50 monthly supplement for each for not having tv though...

don't phone them to cancel, but instead have a new provider take them over from sky (otherwise you won't be abble to keep your existing phone number. if you cancel then move, you lose the phone number)

guess where i'm (un)lucky enough to work at the moment....
