I love the cool crisp mornings, and the performance boost my car and bike get from it, but I definitely get quite depressed at how quickly the nights are drawing in

My favourite time of the year!

Love the change in the landscape... Deeside, Perthshire and the Trossachs all look fantabulous!

It's easy to forget what a beautiful country we have here...

I remember sitting in a pub in Sarajevo discussing cities with a multi-national group. There was me extolling the virtues of Prague and Barcelona... and then one of the Aussies said his favorite city was Edinburgh.

The next time I was home on leave I was walking in the Old Town part of Edinburgh and for the first time in ages I lifted my head up from the pavement and had a look around... he had a point - the city is pretty spectacular if you don't just take it for granted!

I mean how many Cities have this slap bang in the centre?

Certainly one of my favourite cities. I also like Perth (Scotland). Comes of being 1/2 jock I suppose.

Having travelled around a hell of a lot, I do think Edinburgh is the nicest city ive come across...shame about the people running it, but thats a different topic!
nice and sunny out right now!
