Currently updating my CV and wondering whether to include a URL for my profile on the Linkedin professional networking site.
I have a fairly healthy profile with a good number of contacts and several favourable business recommendations from customers.
Is it worth including on my CV or should I work on the basis that those with an interest will probably run a search anyway...?

I personally would include it if your Linkedin profile adds value to the statements on on your cv, ie backs up what your stating. Otherwise I
wouldn't bother.

I've wondered this sort of thing in the past.
I have a small one page website which has a digital copy of my cv, more indepth details of past work, and links to such websites but have never known
if it is best to include it or not.

links in a CV which could be printed would be useless really.
plus alot of people in HR hear dont use linkedin so it maybe a waste.
i would add a section of references and add linkedin info in that.
which i think richardk was saying?

Linked in is gradually getting to be accepted as a backdoor route to checking you out (and also vice versa).
The last couple of jobs I've been interested in, the agencies have sent me links to the profiles of the hiring managers which has been
useful...
Bear in mind that a lot of agencies tailor CVs before they send them on to employers, also....
But IMHO, if it enhances your CV application, include it...
