I want to make a brick wall 23.4m Long 600mm high with a row of headers onto.
Just like this
Am I right in thinking i need:
Wall - 23.4*0.6*120 = 1684 Bricks
Headers - 14 per m = 327
Total = 2011 so 2200 Bricks?
Work out the area of the wall and about 120 bricks per square metre for double skin wall. If the headers are edge on it might make a bit of difference
to the final total. Have you included the headers in the total height or added them on top?

Shouldnt you take the height of the header row off your "wall" calculation?

you would assume so as you used the brick calculator on the internet :O)
that calc is normally ok. ive used it alot to get a rough guide.
always round (up) to the nearest full pack! to be safe.

They are not headers strictly speaking, they are a brick on edge which would be a soldier course
Yep, your calc is very close. Certainly close enough for ordering to the nearest pack size up (usually 452 or thereabouts).
Standard bricks are 215 x 65 x 102.5 mm, giving 225 x 75 for each brick including 10mm of mortar and a wall thickness of 215mm to match your soldier
course (I've been looking at this 'cos I'm about to build a conservatory!)
