no not the stuff that goes bang, anyone work for them?
my contract has been taken over by them,i have the choice, stay with my co and move to a different contact or stay where i am and work for them.
what are they like to work for?

What is your contract like compared to theirs?

Good chance, they'll want to move you onto their contract. They can't just do this - so they'll negotiate with you over it. May be a chance to get better terms or paid off to lose some benefits.

WTF????

I thought you were driving an ambulance.

If TNT takes over, are we going to be sending patients by courier now?

Don't forget, you need to book a day in advance and they should pick them up next day between 9.00-17.00

Ohh FFS

Google TUPE European regulations on just such issues

That'll be cool. I can't wait to turn up at my clinic in the morning:

"Sorry you were out. We have left your patient hidden under your wheely bin"

or is this a new job after the incident with the teleporting bollard?

same job driving my ambulance,i havnt seen a contract or what they are offering yet,it has been rumor until today when we all received the monthly propaganda sheet and it was mentioned on the front page.
my manager was so incensed he sent off a harshly worded e mail to head office.......that should stir them up

No, that will be

Sorry we missed you.
You need to come and collect your patient from the head office after 6 hours.

If you need to rearange delivery call as on 0845 321434 option 3 and then 5 and then 5 and 1 and you will be able to speak to one of our advisors.

6 hours rolling about in the back of a merc sprinter and i think the patient would be a little bit dead/bruised/damaged

So?

The patient is going to the hospital after all.

Some extra work for the doctor in charge.

I know they can't just change your contract, I remember being told something about they can't change yours for a year, or maybe two.
