Can anyone help out with a wireless all-in-one printer recommendation.

I have a Mac 10.5.8.

I've always had HP for 'hard-wired' printers before, but it seems that the wireless ones don't get the best of reviews.

Epson seems to be good value for money, but I know the square route of zilch about them!

All advice appreciated!

Look at printer ink cost first in generic ink suppliers.

Then look at the printers after that.

Oh avoid the LEXMARK BRAND LIKE A PLAGUE

They sacked all the workers in Rosyth and moved to China/Eastern Europe when the grants ran out

Cheers Mango... had a flick at the Epson cartridges. They seem to differ from the HP ones in that the colours are separate rather than lumped in one cartridge.

A good thing?

HP wireless networked printers are fine no problems, don't use an adhoc nework just set it up to a fix IP and let the router handle DCHP for the network.

My mate, who is an IT consultant, still has an old Epson R800 with 6 separate cartridges.
He swears by it and if you shop around you can get replacement cartridges for about £2 each.
I currently have a Dell all in one that is shortly going to go. the ink costs a fortune!
I shall be going down the Epson route as I have had them before and they are dead reliable and ink is cheap.

Now I just need to learn to type

I use a Lexmark wireless printer without issues, the print quality is up there with the rest. The only downside is the there refills can be a bit pricey if you do not shop around.

Ps Lexmark had to pay back quite a bit of cash that they got from the local government.

The bottom line was labour costs in Scotland / UK were too high...

Don't discount getting a laser. No ink to dry out or get clogged.
