payment refund for non recieved items on ebay

hi, I have not received an item i paid for since the 5th of Oct. No reply from seller either. I have opened a case. but it's taking so long. How do i get the money back from pay-pal. does it have to be through Ebay?

Im still waiting for £8.50 from a guy who was selling number plates

He died in april this year !!

Paypal assure me they are trying to get my money

Can take a while to get money back,ebay/paypal will favour you but it is best to use the ebay system that is in place.

I have just used the system for a faulty part.

you have to wait for ebay but you will get your cash back.

they have to give the seller the chance to reply ect.

Well I am guessing that he no longer has his bank details linked to his acount

Leave him some bad feedback, should warn others off.

One advantage of having a CC attached to Paypal rather than a bank account is you can get the money off the CC company.
