shock absorber shroud

does any one know where to get the rubber boots that cover the bottom of the shocker for the iva.have got track rod shrouds and nut covers already but dont know where to get the shocker shrouds from or even if they are called that.any help will be greatfully accepted

I think most people just use remote control car tyres.

I don't think they are needed if the shock is inside the area created by the wishbones.
The requirement was removed in the last draft of the IVA manual.

But for the sake of a couple of quid, it's easier to stick some covers on anyway than take the chance failing and having to do a re-test.

I used RC car tyres on mine, but I guess cv boots would look a little more fit for purpose.

A mate of mine used the front fork gaitors from a dirt bike to cover the top mounting of his shocks for iva. As said above the area inside the wishbones is exempt from radius testing now.
