Tiling walls up to a pitched ceiling.
NigeEss - 11/11/10 at 11:26 PM

Doing the bathroom and at the mo am tiling the walls.

Unfortunately it's in the dormer so the ceiling is pitched following the angle
of the roof. I know the technique for straight cuts, ie, lay tile to be cut on
top of previous and use another into the corner etc, but is there a similar
way to do the angles ?

By measurement is a PITA as there a loads to do.

Measure and mark the bottom edge where the tile is going to sit then put a wide straight edge on the angle and line it up with the mark to draw your line on the tile face. Allow room for grout and variations in the ceiling plaster and you should be close enough.
