On a lighter note!

Just been watching the videos of the latest singing sensation to hit the stage in Japan. Hard to believe. Slightly strange and somehow slightly pervy. Hypnotic. Absolutely worksafe.
Singing Hologram.

A little bit strange maybe, but I actually found it facinating from a technical point of view. It really shows how hologram projection has improved over the last few years and I suppose it is almost like a stage between live performances and just watching a video. I think it opens up all kinds of opportunities for artists who maybe are not confident to perform in front of a huge audience but are fine in a studio (Susan Boyle comes to mind)

Then, it could be taken to all sorts of bizzarre limits ...... virtual strippers maybe?

.....erm ... did I just say that out loud?

I just watched that and the last thing that came to my mind was Susan Boyle You can have Susan Boiler in your fantasy but don't try to put her in mine

Exactly, most of these Brit Pop puppets are manufactured to a particular trendy look. When they have the right image they teach them to sing and dance - just like Freak Factor really

technically it is amazing.
they have a show on in universal studios in Orlando (disaster ride) where a 3D christopher walken comes on stage and interacts with the audience. that is excellent and worth watching.
