just bid on an item, got a message to say i had been outbid straight away.
looks like someone has put bids on £10 incrememnts so every time i bid he outbids me automaticly,is this right?
depends on the actual price... could be the increments are in £10?
says i can bid in £1 incremints
Don't know about setting increments, but if you bid £1000 on an item with first bid set at, say, £10, your bid will be entered as £10 and
won't go up until it has to, ie someone bids £50 so your bid automatically jumps to £55 or £60.
Does that answer the question? I suspect not!

I guess you can bid in any increments you want, but if you keep increasing by £1, the bid won't be £1 bigger until you outbid the other fella!
bitsilly,yup that explains it
Sealey Super Mig Welder 150/5 on eBay (end time 13-Nov-10 22:21:43 GMT)
what,s it worth...nice and local to me
200 quid will buy you a new one, so, needing a £40 part + work, I wouldnt go more than £100 if I wanted it.
Crips, someone understood me!! That's a first!
I was also looking around for a welder until I fixed mine. There are some excellent offers on new ones that beat Ebay prices (with free delivery).
Google the model you are interested in but when you find them for sale, check the other ones they sell. If you are anything like me you will quickly
get upgradeitis so decide how powerful you want first!
Cheers

i curently have the same cebora 130 that i paid £10 for about 25 years ago
so upgradeitus isnt a problem.
ill leave a bid of £60? and see how that goes.cheers foer your replies.
He could be bidding it up himself.
