I found an old Tv set and I thought I'd have a go with it and see if it worked. On it's own ariel it picked up glimpses of BBC1 and sound for all four channels, but when I plugged it into the roof ariel It started to pick up german radio and I found BBC1 again but it played German radio simultaniously. I've never experienced this before (I've got quite a few old Tv's) and just found the whole thing rather odd. Any Ideas as to what makes this one telly do this?

On a side note, where should BBC1/2 be on a Tv Dial?

Is it a Grundig by any chance?

Where to find each channel depends entirely on which transmitter you are picking up.

It's a sony (TV-110UK is the model name on the back), but it's very old. Is there somewhere I can find out the frequencies for where I am?
