X factor
sonic - 27/11/10 at 09:39 PM

I have had the misfortune of sitting in the same room as X factor on the TV tonight,is it me or my telly but i have never heard such a load of Sh-t in all my life!! some sound out of tune,Rock night since when has a U2 song sung as a ballad been rock!

I have to admit last year i watched it a few times and thought Jamie affro and Daniel were very good but this year, what a load of rubbish.

I think X factor has run its coarse if this is as good as it gets

They did that travesty last year. The closest they got was T-rex (not arguing there) and the "judges" complained about it!

That's the point that I decided it was such a big load of bo-lax that I couldn't even watch it for the few people that have got talent.

Cheap and nasty tv show.. Like most tv these days, its about individual nobodys embarassing themselves and being
slagged off by t0ssers. That is what the public is craving for.
The apprentice (don`t get me started) is another example. What kind of person would pr0stitue themselves on global
tv to work along side a bad haired, finger pointing, egotistical, nasty b3ll end?
I only ever hear about it from women at work, who talk about the judges and competitors on first name terms like
they know them.....
Aaaaargh!

Rant done

Always reminds me of a saying I heard once, it goes something like:
Great people discuss ideas
Average people discuss things
Small people discuss other people

Hmmm! Some references to they / them in the thread above so are these references to things or people?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of these programmes but I do realise that I have a choice (albeit not much of one as most tv is pap now)

+ another
time for it and all reality tv to end

Thing is once they've made it half way through an Xfactor or apprentice they've got it made, the next thing you know they are hosting some cr@p on Sky TV.
Lets face it there are loads of people who are professional members of Joe public who appear on the box. Escape to the country has to be my favourite on one show they are looking for a £1,000,000 house in swaziland which they fall in love with but never buy and 2 months later they are on Masterchef.
Its laughable that some slapper can save up and get the biggest plastic paps this side of the black stump and a few years later be worth 20 million from flopping them out.
If I was 18 and a girlie I'd get a pair of 72" zz's fitted and away I'd go, sure beats working for a living.
Rant over.
Cheers,
Bob

I'm pretty sure we would have got "worked" pretty hard during the early days to get where she did.
