Confused but excited. - 4/12/10 at 12:29 PM

It's not as bad as first appears. If you watch the video until near the end, you will see it is one of the new self repairing ones.

Easier to clean up than this

or even this

A few hundred meters clearance would surfice for the windmill, I wouldn't live withinn 100 miles of a neuclear reactor if I had any choice in the matter!

Get packing quick!!!! lol

LINK Hinkley Point B Nuclear Reactor

EDIT: If it makes you feel any better I'm 27 mile away from it as the crow flies, I'm pretty sure Radioactive waste wouldn't take the M5

yea, but chernobyl was caused by the russians that were running it without the necessary protocols being followed.

a quick google indicates that the average wind turbine is rated at 1.5MW, and over a year averages 25% production. Average nuclear powerstation is just short of 1Gw, so you need about 3000 wind turbines to equal one nuclear reactor.

So under that you'd need about 3 million of them for time travel

Dont even start on this... the cost of installing 1Gw of wind turbines would be HUGELY massive compared to that required to build and decommision a decent nuclear power-station....
