How much internet download are you using on your mobile phones with what sort of usage. Is 500mb plenty or does it realy need to be unlimited. Just
moving out of the dark ages
i used about 41m with daily usage!
Who offers unlimited now? I thought everyone stopped in October?
500mb does me plenty for emails (100 a day), using google maps to look up places and directions (but not navigate), and browse the net every day for
about 10 minutes or so.
It becomes a problem if you do a lot of YouTubing, or googlemap navigation, or just general downloading (e.g. downloading apps/programs via 3g instead
of when you're in WiFi)

Depends if you use it as a modem on your laptop or not. I have unlimited and struggle to use much more than 50mb a month for browsing and mails when away from my PC/Laptop during the day.
I'm currently using between 10 and 20 mb a day. I have a couple of apps doing background dowloading which when switched off cuts it down to about 1 mb a day
T-Mobile do an 'unlimited' internet contract which is only £5 a month!
I have 1Gb per month limit, I've not used more than 200Mb so far, but I do connect to wifi most of the day
If you want truly unlimited internet, giffgaff's £10 per month SIM gives you 250mins, unlimited texts and (truly) unlimited data.
I use opera opera to browse most websites which reduces data useage, have yet to reach the 500mb mark after 18months of regular useage!
I get 5Gb for £5 from T-Mobile. I never think twice about how much I use.
For £10 per month on a SIM-only deal from Tesco I get unlimited internet, unlimited texts and 500 voice minutes. Network coverage seems excellent so
far.
(But I think it's now only available at £15 a month for new customers.)
