We have snow!

Proper 4" deep snow. I've never seen that in the 13 years we've been here.
It's really weird seeing a palm tree covered in snow and roses flowering with snow all over the garden.
The milkman was only15 minutes late. What a hero. I didn't think he'd make it up the hill.
The down side..........I have to walk into town and back as there are no taxis and the tele is not getting any signal. Isn't technology
wonderful? This never happened when it was analogue. Still that's progress for you.
Tap the Sky dish with a broomstick, the LnB is covered.
However pretty snow is... I am going to be totally fuming mad if I cant make it from Plymouth to Criccieth (North Wales) next week to be with my family for christmas....
Me too - I'm doing Deal (Dover) to Mid Wales christmas morning!

Well we're supposed to be flying out to Austria for a weeks skiing today. So far we appear to be doing so out of the only airport in the country that's working semi-properly. Fingers crossed!

GENTLY!!! or it'll be pointing at the moon.....
Correct!
The snow was piled up on the LNB boom, in front of the LNB. Have ten Brownie points each.
Just got back from yomping into town, to get some shopping for the old girl next door.
I definately should not have worn a short coat. The wind was behind me and by the time I got into town my arse was freezing off.
Now going onto the bay for some thermal long johns.
After a fortnight, you'll be wishing you'd never seen it.
No go areas in streets and estates means people park on main roads, which means you can't safely drive down suburban main routes.
It's the worst I had ever seen it and it's far from over.

Zil; No suburban roads, all rural. Main road is now clear.
Mango; Retired, so no work inside or out.
Happy days.
We just went through a spot of snow about 150 miles away shut down a major highway to the Excited States, It snowed for 4 days solid 4-5 feet deep. I have 18" in the yard, Now let's talk about snow! There is another member on here from London Ontario who is probably still digging out.

I'd love to have about 2 foot of snow, even if only so when they call me and say the guy that's coming in is stuck in the snow I can say "Well I'm managing to get home well enough!"
