lol
Wouldn't surprise me...
He would never have promised a referendum on Europe if he thought he would have to sort the mess out after a resounding 'no' vote.
John
what wories me is 2 jags/5 bellies getting in
I agree, but Gordon does have a certain comedy vaue

Blair makes me cringe when I see him.
John
didnt the stranglers do a song about him?gordon brown and jilted john, gordon is a moron

I'm very surprised that Jilted John haven't been worked into a political broadcast by one of the opposition parties.
Would get my vote just for having a sense of humour..
Please let it be true.
On second thoughts - that will mean Gordon will get to be pm.
Please can they all resign - surely we would be better off without anyone in Government.
There was a great answer in Autocar last week to the question "What would you do with your last gallon of fuel?" - Steve Harper, chief
platform designer for Volvo replied - "Give it to a bloke called Guy Fawkes and ask him to have another go."
I have heard it mentioned the Guy Fawkes was the last man to enetr the house of commons with honest intentions!

In my humble opinion you will never get a true democracy until the last box on the ballot for says
NONE OF THE ABOVE

That they need to come up with policies which the public really want?

The trouble with the whole government thing is that "Yes Minister" was actually a very good representation of the way parliament runs. Sad,
but true.
I mourn the loss of Screaming Lord Sutch - his Monster Raving Loony party would stand a fighting chance, these days...
David
Monster raving loony party is still going and in fact stood in my local election in ipswich the other week....
As for the PM post...
where is the viable alternative? the tories got rid of the two un-electable baldy men just to install the smarmiest git ever to enter politics..
(looks like a child molester) and let us never forget it was him who brought in poll tax!
The other alternative? the british public will never vote in a fat ginger prime minister!
Now if Hugh Grant stood he'd be a sure fire winner! - we are getting more like the americans every day.....
As for Gordon Brown.... don't get me started
I say bring back Mo Mowlam... the ugliest woman ever to grace westminster - but she sorted out Northern Ireland........ nuff said
Or of course i could just be talking nutsack coz lets face it that's all politics is
How can they be working in our interest when they can't agree among themselves? If you watch the question time you'll wonder whether these people should be running a country or locked up in an institution. The lunatics are taking over the asylum. Thatcher brought in the poll tax, it was her nemesis and the government was very worried there was going to be major civil unrest
Thatcher was prime minister when poll tax was introduced yes ... but Michael Howard was actually in charge of the whole debacle.
