hmm, my mate had a similar issue a few weeks ago i think, turned out to be a flash player update he was missing, but you should get a message saying its not the right version, so i don't know. works fine here though anyhow

Is it your flash player acting up? I had to reinstall mine the other day for the same symptoms.

Yep check your flash and windows updates.

Also I would check that you haven got a screen output going for example via SVGA, composite or other.

Often video cards can one play video on one screen at a time and if you or another user has been fiddling then it may be sending an output not to your monitor.

Also try google videos with a non you tube clip. See if it makes a difference.

try uninstalling and then reinstalling flash (control panel - remove programs, then download a fresh copy)

Are you using 64bit Windoze by any chance? Flash doesn't like it and you will need to run 32bit Explorer to view YouTube.

is it just me or is the quality of video's getting worse. Could be that lots of phones have crap video, but it seems a real lack of what I would call decent quality vids. I dont expect HD but at least not pixelated rubbish.........

Rant over, been a long day.....
