(purchase price for the ones sold is £ 34.99 so WTF is going on????)

Do you ever search for an item on ebay but then filter your results in price order with most expensive first? I do. It usually filters out all the crap from China. This way they get to the top of the search list. Not that they ever sell them for that price. But you may then search for their other items to see if they have the same at a normal price.
Not too different to calling a cab firm AAAcabs

if you look at their feedback and click on the negative from past 6 months, there was one person who appears to have bought the bag at £1000, then put in negative feedback!

something you see very often, incurred double charges and no reply to my complaint, but a quote from their book of rules.
