parking in london
swanny - 19/4/11 at 10:07 AM

hello all,

due for a meeting close to euston on thursday morning about 10.
as wife is about a week away from giving birth would prefer the flexibility of a car should i need to nip back.
also want to pick up a car park in the london area, and as work are paying congestion charges, parking, petrol cost isnt an issue.

can anyone recomend anywhere close to euston to park, or should i be aiming to park somewhere like golders green and then hop on a tube?

Paul

Parking always difficult to find, I would go with the Golders Green option personally

do a search on google maps "euston station car park" and it shows a few carparks around the area

i generally park in shopping places like sainburys. they normally give free parking for a certain amount of time if you spend £10 in store and cheaper parking for day.

Golders Green is a pain for parking as all the streets close to the tube are controlled.

Colindale is a couple of stops further out but much easier to park.

If work are paying I'd just drive to an NCP near Euston.
