We currently have two phones at work, one in the workshop and one in the office. Dad has gone and brought another phone that he thought he could just connect to the same line as the phone in the workshop but as they are digital phones, they dont seem to like working through a splitter. Does anyone know if there is a way to run two digital phones on one line?

digital phones 'usually' only use at most 4 wires and most run on cat 5 which is 8 wires, so its easily split.

but like i say if its hard wired it will be a little more difficult.

You may be able to add more phones to the base station if they're DECT they should support GAP. Not all base stations support it though and the handsets have to support being paried to a different base but most should.

You need to clarify what you mean by 'digital'. Do you mean wired IP phones, i.e. connected using Cat 5 cable, or Digital wireless (DECT) phones?
