He seems to specialise in patent prosecution. Russian mob involvement and money laundering springs to mind, allegedly.

From BBC site:
"Former banker Nikolai Smolenski "
I just heard about this on Today. They said the guy was 24!
Ach, it's a hard life this inheritance business!
James
I just hope he doesn't f**k it up.
I expect he will want to try and "do" America, which will involve cleaner, quieter engines...
Next thing you know, he'll be expanding by buying in a FWD fist sized piece of Indian sh?ite and rebadging it as the TownTVR.
It could happen.

Neil.
At least he bought TVR and not Triumph or (worse yet) Lotus.
Wonder if Chelsea will get a deal on TVR's for their 'staff'?

Seems like a smart move to sell the company, at exactly the same time that Rover stop making the V8 that powers almost every TVR??
I wonder if the Russian knows? Perhaps if you bore out two Lada engines and bolt 'em together???
They make their own engines these days from an Al Melling design.

Cheers,
Neil
The Rover V8 hasn't been used for a long time, the AJP V8 was only put into cerbera's all the later stuff,Tuscan, Tamora, T350 etc use the speed 6 engine.
I think only the cerbera uses a V8 (and not a rover one) now, the new mental 580bhp T440 thing uses a supercharged straight 6 and everything else has
variations on the 6 cyl engine. Oh and the speed 12 has a rather potent V12
I wonder where Bowler will go for their power from now on...
