It's called being untouchable. If you have that much money you own people. They're only going to do something if the mud they have is so sticky it's never going to wash off. Just look at Murdoch Jr at the enquiry yesterday- lots of evidence to suggest he knew full well about the hacking, witnessing saying they told him- he just says "they're mistaken". Anyone got the cahunas to say he's a bare faced liar unless they're certain he's going down? No. Well actually there was that MP (or at least he was the last time I checked but I doubt Murdoch's had a chance to start leaning on people yet)....

Anyway, that's a blood poor defense:

So in order to avoid getting found out on tax evasion he paid off someone blackmailing him 44 million euros.
