Card fraud again

Card fraud again. First time a few years ago some prick brought some car insurance online with my card details £2000. This time £660 worth of flights paid online with the wife's card details. Problem is Barclays sent her a text saying to ring their fraud line she rang and they said they were checking with her if it was an authorised transaction............two hours after they authorised the payment, errr whats the point in that she said , Barclays said the transaction was alerted on their system as a possible fraud but as its a Sunday they are under staffed and busy so authorised it and sent the text as soon as they could. What a great system

do they refund it fast? At least, being flights, no one will benefit from them surely, since they can be cancelled?

They said we will get the money within 48hrs , but that's what I not get surely they will just cancel the tickets and go the their address and nab em same as the car insurance before, I would kind of understand if they brought something physical with it like a tv?

I bought a load of buggies and kids stuff online last year (not), Lloyds rang me to clarify if it was me , and I told them to sling their hook.

Total cold call, so I suspected spammer, told them I would ring their fraud number straight back.

Sure enough I had been spammed by some turds in Manchester.

Sign of the times, nothing we can do while we carry cards and use pins to pay for stuff. Turds are resourceful.....
