Where's Janis when you need her! O..........................................................M.....................................................G!

Galaxy S2 wins the reviews and by going that way you're not sucking Steve Jobs corporate (hah!) plums.

What more do you need to know?!!!

Cheers,
James

sorry

i know i should not ask a question like this but as they are both expensive i thought i'd see what the people say and i know it comes up often but a least it gives me something to read. (whist having a stella).

cheers steve

whats so good about android

Almost as dangerous as asking BEC or CEC...

PS Galaxy S2 is the sensible choice over the Apple rubbish

The S2 is what android should have been from the start but the hardware wasn't really there to support it. Snappy and quick - something the Apple always did well but had the advantage of it's simplistic / non-existant multitasking.

One thing that doesn bug me about the Apple devices is the lock-in to iTunes. At least with Android you can ignore the Google services should you want to.

Also the fact that if you plug your iPhone into someone else's PC then it will most likely wipe itself for no apparent reason just like an iPod...

Realistically? Horses for courses. If you like great design and following fashions then go for the Apple.

They have reached the level of maturity that both of them "just work", but the Samsung is more "tinkerable" should you so desire.

Just one little point of note...

In the 90s, Microsoft was forever being denigrated for it's policies on user data. Both Apple and Google's are potentially far worse. Apple's perhaps more so than Google...

I've always found apple very cost effective and reliable
Customer service is 100% too

I always sell my 1 year old phone the same day I get my new one and I got £360 for 3GS and £350 for my iPhone 4

Wich if you work it out I always get already half my bills back every time I sell a phone!

If the Samsung was that good then why aren't they selling previous models for the same as I phones are !

Also BEC all they way

mookaloid - 12/1/12 at 08:28 PM

The reality is that they are both pretty good. It's like asking if a Mercedes is better than a BMW

Buy the one you like best or which one has a killer app for you.

Because a lot people like to pay over to odds simply to own a badge, be it clothes, cars or consumer products.
